  • The time it takes to downsize a makeup kit can vary depending on the size of your collection and how thorough you want to be. It could take from a few hours to a month.

  • You have the option to either select and bring your preferred containers to the session, or we can discuss and explore the best options together, tailored specifically to your artistry needs.

  • Full compensation is offered either in the form of the original price of the product or the purchase of the exact product.

  • The leftover product is stored in plastic bags or the original container for future use as a refill.

  • Sanitization: We ensure that all tools, surfaces, and containers used in the depotting process are clean and sanitised to minimise the risk of contamination. This includes washing hands thoroughly before handling makeup products, wearing disposable gloves and using 99% IPA alcohol to clean all tools and surfaces.

    Product Integrity: We are careful not to compromise the integrity of the makeup products during depotting. Avoid introducing bacteria or contaminants into the products.

    Air Exposure: Some makeup products, particularly cream or liquid formulations, may be sensitive to air exposure. Depotting these products into new containers could expose them to air, potentially leading to changes in texture or formula over time. Using airtight containers or packaging to minimise air exposure where needed.

    Labelling: We properly label all depotting containers to ensure you can easily identify the products later and prevent confusion.

  • The terms of our compensation depend on the timing of the incident following the condensing service and the cause of it. If it occurs within one month, we're glad to repair any broken powders either at no cost or with a minimal charge. Additionally, we take into consideration how you transport your kit to work. For instance, if you use a trolley bag, which may subject your products to higher impact, we can discuss tailored maintenance tips to prevent future damage. Regardless of the circumstances, we're committed to finding solutions to avoid such incidents in the future. Let's collaborate to ensure the longevity of your makeup kit.

  • In this case we will be happy to replace the container as fast as possible and repair the damage.

  • Pressurised Products: Products that are pressurised, such as aerosol sprays (e.g., setting sprays, aerosol foundations), should not be depotted because they rely on the pressure within the container to dispense the product properly. Attempting to depot these products can be dangerous and may cause them to malfunction.

    Products with Specialised Applicators: Products that come with specialised applicators integrated into the packaging, such as cushion foundations or lip glosses with built-in wands, may not be suitable for depotting. Transferring these products to different containers can make them less convenient to use and may affect their performance.

    Highly Fragile Products: Products that are highly fragile or prone to breaking, such as baked powders or delicate pressed pigments, may not be suitable for depotting unless done with extreme caution. Depotting these products can increase the risk of breakage and compromise their integrity.

    Specialty Products: Specialty products with unique formulations or packaging, such as peel-off masks, nail polishes, or wax-based products, may not be suitable for depotting due to their specialised nature.

  • Our Rent a Kit service allows you to rent a full condensing kit for a limited time. This is perfect if you need the tools for repressing, depotting, or organizing your makeup but don’t want to commit to buying the full kit upfront.

    What’s included in the Rent a Kit service:

    • Full set of MICRO KIT condensing kit: 1 ton arbor press, molds, Z potter, spatulas, label maker with tapes, consumables for hygiene and the condensing process.

    • You can pick up the kit yourself for a location in East London or Uber it to your home by covering the expenses.

    • You can use it for your desired time period (e.g., 1- 9 days or more). At the end of the rental period, simply return it to us.

    *note: Palettes, pans and containers are purchased separately from the kit.

  • To rent a kit, simply visit our DIY service on the website, select RENT A KIT and the duration of your rental. We will sent the kit directly to your address, and you can start your repressing and depotting projects as soon as it arrives.


    Rental Prices:

    • £60 per day, with discounts available for rentals longer than one day

    • Tools: Specialized tools such as depotting knives, heat tools, or tweezers are often used to remove the product from its original container without damaging it.

    • Heat Application: Many products are glued into their pans with glue, and depotting often requires applying heat (like using z potter or a heat tool) to soften the adhesive, making it easier to remove the product.

    • Transferring: Once removed, the product is typically placed into an empty pan or palette where it can be used again.

  • Yes! You can depot products and place them into any palette with enough space. Many makeup artists use empty magnetic palettes for depotting, as they allow you to mix and match products from different brands. Just make sure the new palette is clean and that will hold your product securely.

  • Yes, you can bring your own makeup kit to be condensed! We prefer to receive and deliver kits hand-to-hand for the best service and to ensure everything is handled carefully. However, if you’re located outside of London or unable to visit in person, you can also send your kit to us via mail.

    Once your kit is condensed (repressed, depotting, and organized), we’ll arrange for it to be returned to you. If you choose the hand-to-hand option, we’ll schedule a convenient time for pickup or drop-off. If you’re mailing your kit, we’ll send it back to you securely with tracking to ensure it arrives safely.
